June 2021
Delighted to announce I have a quiet little seascape painting which has been selected as a finalist in the 2021 Southern Buoy Studio Landscape Prize. It is an Oil on board Painting called An Approach, 78 x 29 cm.
'This painting depicts a moment whilst walking on the beach at Mt Martha on a winter's afternoon. The sand is wet after rain, the wind keen and water turbulent. I am caught in a cold front proceeding the approaching storm clouds…..The title also implies the particular mind set and technique applied to painting this landscape.'

A planned Artist Residency at Police Point, Portsea provided by Mornington Shire Council has been postponed due to lock down. In it's place artists have been asked to submit work online as a 'virtual' residency. I have decided to make a video of my creative process whilst taking walks within my local area all within the 5 km limit prescibed by lock down restrictions. I invited other members of the community to submit content also, via instagram. I called the project 'Thrive in Five'. The virtual artist residency was kindly supported by Mornington Shire Council.

Exhibition COSMIC GARDEN
September 2019
Delighted to be sharing an exhibition with John Noordennen. The show 'Cosmic Garden' is exhibiting at arc Yinnar Gallery, Yinnar, in Gippsland. It consists of individual works paintings, drawings and sculpture and mixed media work created together. 'Cosmic Garden' examines the possibility that in the distant future and alien race may chance apon some random debris form a long destroyed earth. The notion is that from these fragments a hypothetical museum display has been put together with the notion of what 'earth' may have looked like.
As per usual when working together we had magnificent fun for several days installing and curating a group of our combined works together to create a story.
