Early outdoor sculpture first developed from concept line drawings in response to the physical movements of the body and arms within a dance process. 'Water Spirit' was first exhibited in the shallow reflection pool in the grounds of Yering Station Winery at Yarra Glen. It was seven metres in length including  the tail trailing beneath the surface of the water.
